The Essdee Blade Container Upgrade Set adds five specialised blades to your existing karving tool, giving you greater control over line, texture, and depth without changing the tool you already know.

HOW THE UPGRADE WORKS
The blade container holds five interchangeable Essdee blades, neatly stored and easy to access. Each blade fits the standard Essdee handle and is secured using the aluminium tightening band.
You keep the same handle. You simply change the blade.
This modular system lets you expand your mark-making range while maintaining the same grip, balance, and feel.
THE BLADES AND WHAT THEY ADD

Blade 1 is a fine, narrow V-shaped blade for delicate detail, thin lines, and light surface work. It performs best at roughly a 45-degree angle to the sheet.

Blade 2 is a small, wide V-shaped blade for broader lines and controlled shaping, best used near parallel to the surface.

Blade 3 is a small, wide U-shaped blade designed for smooth clearing and flowing marks when held close to parallel to the sheet.

Blade 4 is a large, wide U-shaped blade used for opening up areas, removing more material, and creating bold texture, also best used near parallel to the surface.

Blade 5 is a scoring blade, ideal for marking guides, outlines, and reference lines before carving deeper with other blades.
Together, these blades allow you to move beyond a single line style and explore contrast, rhythm, and depth.
